Portrait Studio Onna

Hey there, I'm Yvonne – delighted to make your acquaintance!

I am a multipassionate designer hailing from the enchanting landscapes of Austria.

My journey in design has taken me on an exciting educational adventure, studying architecture and design in institutions in St. Pölten, Innsbruck, and Madrid.

I have worked in architecture offices as an architect as well as in art institutions setting up exhibitions.

I conceptualized and organized multiple events in cultural institutions.

And I really like to create. I enjoy switching between mediums, working with people, transforming ideas into tangible reality, and telling stories—stories of people, things, and spaces.

From 3D to 2D and back, I feel at home in both worlds.

Studio ONNA - where does the name come from?

There is actually a little girl in Innsbruck who gave me that name because she couldn't say mine. It stuck with me for the last 2 years and reminds me of some qualities I like to embody. It's like she could come up with any wish and I would make it into a reality. Her dollhouse needed some new furniture? I was on it. Her cuddly toy needed to be repaired? I was on it. She imagined something she'd like to have—I made it a personalized item for her to keep and enjoy. In her eyes, I could realize anything from thin air into a graspable reality. And she reminded me of a talent I possess and enjoy: making things, creating. So the name of the studio is an homage to that little child who gave me the idea to start my own business.
